Tears Of Sorrow, Fur Ball of Joy

Disruptions, disappointments, confuse, and tears all came to the garden today. Everywhere Little Bush turned there was another bush telling her what she ought to do, should do, should have done. The flood of tears has been unending and relentless today. The tears silenced the expression of all sound that rose to her lips. But no expression was released of disagreement or anger or joy, only silence. In the recess of her mind and ears she could hear the beat of her own heart, steady and soft. Glancing around the garden everyone was busy with cleanup of broken branches, dead leaves, and what remained of winter fruit and flowers. She looked at her own bruised flowers and wondered if there would be others to take their place. Her attention was diverted by a playful kitten that breezed through and brought a welcome relief to Little Bush. As the kitten batted her dead flowers and leaves surrounding her, it sent a fragrance through out the garden. That spontaneity and simple love of life brought more tears of gratefulness to her Savior who used a ball of fur to bring a fresh breath of joy.
